ICS-P371 được thiết kế để bảo vệ thông tin truyền thông trong cả lĩnh vực IT và OT. Được trang bị CPU Intel® AtomTM X6211E/X6413E/X6425E (trước đây là Elkhart Lake) cho nền tảng IoT nâng cao và hiệu suất xử lý cao, ICS-P371 sở hữu một số tính năng phần cứng quan trọng, bao gồm công nghệ bypass qua mạng LAN tiên tiến, Phát hiện xâm nhập khung máy và bảo mật phần cứng TPM 2.0 tích hợp. ICS-P371 tuân thủ IEC 61850-3 và IEEE 1613, ngoài ra còn có các cổng I/O rộng rãi hỗ trợ 6 cổng LAN RJ45 100M/1G/2.5 GbE và 2 cổng SFP GbE, 1 cổng COM, 2 cổng USB và 2 cổng DIO. Điện áp nguồn hỗ trợ đầu vào nguồn kép +12~48Vdc. Hệ thống hỗ trợ nguồn điện đầu vào kép +12~48Vdc và hoạt động trong dải nhiệt độ rộng từ -40°C đến 70°C. Toàn bộ thiết kế phần cứng đảm bảo ICS-P371 sẽ không bao giờ bị ngừng hoạt động khi hoạt động trong môi trường nguy hiểm như môi trường OT.
